First Post, new site
Posted by admin on Sunday Dec 27, 2009 Under By DadThis is a post by Dad,
Carmen is now 3 year old, and she’s just had her 4th visit from Santa Claus. (So this is written from Dad’s point of view, or Carmen’s view)!! lol
My my what a lucky lady.. A rocking horse, loads of lego, a FiFi game, an Elephant game (which is well cool), a fully fledged kitchen from Granny Frieda, a beautiful “Furreal” Biscuit Dog, which is just amazing, Chocolate Buttons, loads of Tinkerbell toys, and loads loads more…
I wonder where we are going to put them all…!
On the plus side we managed to get a Turkey, we also missed the presence of Grandad John, Granny Frieda, Great Grandad Tommy, and Great Granny Marie, who sadly had to stay across in Edinburgh, 1. due to bad weather, and Grandad Tommy being in hospital. Carmen enjoyed the Christmas Turkey, although didn’t so much like the Cranberry sauce, there’s always next year!!!
On Boxing Day we went through to see Great Grandad Tommy in hospital, Mummy even remembered the directions, I was well impressed. Even better was Dad driving in the snow – he’s a star!
Tomorrow I’ll be adding more pictures, then trying to explain to Mummy how to work this wordpress malarky, and get her to add some stories in too, thankfully I’m all tucked up in bed just now…

Well Carmen, what a young lady you are becoming. I am so glad to hear you had such a good Christmas. You must have been a very good girl to get such lovely presents. I have to say, you look fantastic on your Rocking Horse, however, go and give Dad a kick for not telling us all his name. Make sure you get lots of practice so when you are a bit bigger, I can give you riding lessons on Leachan. Mind you, you were more interested in Molly the last time – That’s ma girl!
Glad that you got through to Edinburgh on Boxing Day. Even better that Mum got the directions right – I wouldn’t want to have been in her shoes had she not!! As for Dad driving in the snow, he’s unhinged, so it helps a lot. In any case, you really don’t want to have Dad in the passenger seat of the car, unless there is a good reason, which involves large amounts of Bulmers and a gag. Don’t compliment him too much on his driving, it might go to his head and his hair might fall out….
This might be a good time to remind Dad that the number “2″ follows the number “1″…. however when you tell him that, make sure you have your running shoes on, because he will chase you round the house, wishing you wouldn’t learn cheek from your Aunty FiFi….
Keep up the blogging, and go and give Mum a lesson….
Aunty FiFi
